Rotator Cuff Repair
After a rotor cuff repair it is important to follow the specific guidelines from your surgeon. It is important to limit pain by taking medications prescribed to you by your surgeon and also icing the shoulder for 15-20 minutes at a time up to 3 times per day. Talk to your physician about starting physical therapy soon to help decrease pain and begin simple range of motion (ROM) exercises so you can return to your regular activities.
