Leg Fractures and Stress Fractures
Stress Fracture is a hairline break that is often not detectable by x-rays. It is usually caused by a constant low amount of force such as in sports but can happen during traumatic events such as a car crash.
Symptoms of any type of fracture are usually swelling around the area, loss of function and bruising.
Treatment
Physical Therapy is often prescribed after any fracture due to the loss of muscle and range of motion from lack of use of the affected area for several weeks.
